Here is a small selection of memorable photos of people we love.  Theosis clients often become volunteers and/or shareholders--it is thus not rare to have people in the volunteer and shareholder corps who know, intimately so, the joys of receiving and of giving hope.

A sign above the entrance to Dante's Hades reads, "Yea who enter here...abandon all hope"  It is such a magnificent gift from God...the ability to be able to give hope, most of us will easily lay down our lives not to lose that wonderful gift--a gift we usually do not know we have until we almost lose it.

The Shareholders Only web site offers large selections of memorabilia spanning the ten years of Theosis activities.

A birtday party at Intombi Shelter -'97

Chantell and children on a field trip (in a shopping centre!) -'99

We have come a long way together -'98

Winter is soup time..but when you're on the street, heck, then any time is soup time

Drop-In Centres do not carry stock of balloons, so for a birtday party--condoms work just fine

'97 senior girls at a shelter

Homeless does not mean loveless--and the little one was even baptised before the young mother eventually found a home

'95 - Who is the volunteer at this going-away party?!

'98 - Lovely people--who would have guessed that they were technically destitute?

'96 - Not having time to think about the pain of abandonment is not very difficult with such a family around

Christmas '98 at St. Origen

Christmas '96 at Kulula--looks a bit rough there..., or is that just the volunteers?

'97 - born 6 months premature in Intombi Shelter. This is the youngest child Theosis has ever had the honour to serve.

The Rowdy Bunch of Pretoria - '98

'95 - A year before an ex cop killed Cheeky in a most inhumane way. We can never forget this bubbly spring of joy who just could not kick the drug habit in time.

"Look Ma, a guy with a camera!" - '97 What a beaut--and what a proud young mother

'95 - One month before Clara died of Wellconal abuse. It was a precious few months we had with her--and no one who had dealings with her can ever forget her.

'98 -- Hanging out on a field trip, homeless but with a Theosis heart...good kids...
